All About Fence Donates Materials and Services After Granite Falls Little League Ball Field is Damaged by Suspected Drunk Driver

All About Fence is proud to share we will be giving back to the community with a donation of materials and services to fix the Granite Falls Little League Perrigoue Memorial baseball field. Little League season was scheduled to start on Monday, March 6, but was delayed after a suspected drunk driver ripped through the ball field early Sunday morning, March 5. Chain link fencing was torn down by the vehicle, and even concrete structures on the field were destroyed.

When League President Bob Swanson estimated the damage to be upwards of $8,000, a high dollar price for the nonprofit league, and one not covered by insurance, we knew we could do something to help the more than 100 little league players who would be without a ball field due to the damage done to the field.

Our work to repair the Granite Falls Little League Perrigoue Memorial baseball field will begin Sunday, March 19. All About Fence is a family-owned company with close ties to our local community. We have experience installing baseball field backstops and chain link fencing, most recently installing a new backstop for the Lake Stevens Little League at Hartford Field, so this project hit home with us, and we are happy we can help give back to our community and be sure that these kids will have a safe place to play and practice. The first games of the season are scheduled for the 2nd week of April, and we hope to be able to help them keep on schedule.
