Ask About Our Same As Cash Financing

Cedar is perhaps the most popular choice for residential fencing because of its natural, rustic look. It also provides both the elements of privacy and security that a homeowner needs. Because it is natural, cedar is available in a variety of different textures and styles. Upgrading a home with cedar fencing also adds value to the home and property for resale purposes.

Cedar is also available in a range of colors that can be a light amber to a deep brown. Either color is available. As far as treatment goes, cedar can be either natural or pre-stained prior to installment to promote its longevity and to keep it from “going grey.” We can also provide additional staining should you like to alter the color of the fencing. Every tone of cedar easily blends in, looking natural around the home and yard.

Cedar is not only a top choice for residential installation but for commercial installation as well. As a durable, long-lasting wood, it does an incredibly job of providing the protection as well as aesthetics that clients want.

All About Fence offers you clear cedar as well as full four-inch board and tight knot cedar. For styles, picket fence is a classic option. You may also choose from diagonal lattice top, alta top, or square lattice top.

Estimates on Pre-Stained Cedar Wood

Pre-staining cedar wood promotes its longevity and keeps the planks from turning grey over time. It maintains the original color of the wood, making it look fresh and new years after installation. Ask for an estimate on our pre-stained cedar wood. It’s an extremely cost-effective way to maintain your fence, and in addition, also prolongs the life of the lumber. We are happy to provide estimates on both natural and pre-stained cedar.

Adding a Cedar Gate to Your Fencing

Provide easy entry and exit to your yard with the use of a cedar gate within your fencing. Choose from gates either made with a flat top, dip top, or round top. All of our gates are installed with the most durable hardware, and we provide you with a padlock for security. We recommend choosing a 42-inch wide gate. This allows you to take refuse and garbage bins through the gate as well as other larger items. All of our gates are customized completely to your liking and to your property. Designed to your specifications, each gate is uniquely yours.

Adding an Arbor or Trellis to Your Fencing

To beautify your new fence, consider adding a trellis or arbor along with a gate. Trellises and arbors can be attached to either the fence or the gate. Similarly to gates, each trellis or arbor is custom made and designed completely to your specifications. Designs can be very flexible when it comes to measurements. Let us help you decide on a beautiful trellis or arbor to complement your new fence.

Benefits of Using Pipe Base Posts With Cedar Fencing

Adding pipe base posts to cedar fencing exponentially elongates the life of the fence, well beyond the warranty and guarantee that All About Fence offers. In all of years in business, we have never had to replace a pipe base post, and with its purchase, we guarantee it unconditionally for up to 10 years.

Each standard fence has a 4 1/8-inch treated post, with standard posts being 3 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches. All About Fence’s pipe base posts are 4 1/8 inches x 4 1/8 inches, and in addition, we use 9-foot posts, which are much larger than competitors’ fencing. We also set our posts with concrete for additional stability.

Just as with fencing, pipe base posts can be treated or natural. If your grounds are unusually wet, treated options are the best to avoid decay.

Fence Maintenance Suggestions

Cedar Wood Fence (Natural)
If you opt for a natural cedar wood fence without staining, it will absolutely fade to a dull, gray color over time. However, pressure washing cedar wood is safe and can help bring some of the original color back to the wood. Pressure washing also elongates the life of the fence.

Pre-stained Cedar Wood
Pre-stained cedar will not fade to a gray color. However, it still requires cleaning and maintenance. As with natural cedar wood, pressure washing is the safest way to clean a cedar fence.
